Eco Dedicated Servers FAQ - I am already a Kimsufi and/or So you Start customer

**Eco range product line: what will change for me?**

If you already have one or more Kimsufi and/or So you Start servers, you will not be affected.

You can continue managing your server via the usual Control Panel, and get the same services, options, and technical support.

**Can I keep my Kimsufi/So you Start server? If so, until when?**

Yes, you can keep your dedicated server until you decide to cancel it.

**Will access to technical support change?**

There will be no change.

Technical support will remain accessible via ticket for Kimsufi servers, and both ticket and telephone support will be available for So you Start servers.

**Can I continue to manage my server as usual via the Control Panel?**

Yes, nothing is changing at the moment.

An automatic migration of your Kimsufi and/or So you Start customer account is planned.
We will get back to our customers as soon as possible regarding the implementation date.
Once the migration is complete, you can manage your Kimsufi and/or So you Start server from the OVHcloud Control Panel. We will contact you in the coming months for more information.

**Can I group my servers in the OVHcloud Control Panel?**

In time, we will migrate all Kimsufi and So you Start customer accounts to an OVHcloud account. The goal of this is to offer a unified experience, by grouping all your dedicated servers together in the same Control Panel.

Before this automatic migration, the Kimsufi, So you Start and Rise dedicated servers can only be managed via their respective customer accounts.

**Can I upgrade my solution (additional IP addresses and storage space)? If so, until when?**

Yes. Depending on the range of your dedicated server, you can access the options available in the OVHcloud Control Panel.

**If I want to order a new server, would it be better to order it on Kimsufi, So you Start or eco.ovhcloud.com ?**

The new Eco product line includes Kimsufi, So you Start and Rise dedicated servers. You will get the same products, services and options.

The main difference is that customers will need to create a new OVHcloud account when placing an order on the eco.ovhcloud.com/ website. You will benefit from the OVHcloud Control Panel, and its entire catalogue of products and services.

Please note that in due course, we will stop taking orders on our Kimsufi and So you Start websites. You will not be able to order a new server on the current websites.

**Can I use my account (Kimsufi and/or So you Start) to place an order on eco.ovhcloud.com?**

No.

When you order your new server on eco.ovhcloud.com/, you will be prompted to create a new OVHcloud account. You will keep your old Kimsufi and/or So you Start accounts to manage your other servers.

**How long can I continue to order on Kimsufi and So you Start?**

We will gradually stop sales on our Kimsufi and So you Start websites.

Please order your new server from our eco.ovhcloud.com website.

**What will happen at the end of my commitment period?**

There will be no change: you will keep your dedicated server.

**In the event of a technical failure, will my dedicated server components be replaced?**

We are delivering on our commitments. In the event of a technical issue, our teams will intervene to replace defective components.

**When will servers no longer be available to order on the Kimsufi and So you Start websites?**

Sales will end a few weeks after the launch of the new Eco product line. We will do this in several steps.

You can place orders on the Kimsufi and So you Start websites, as well as on the eco.ovhcloud.com
website.
Products will still be available on the Kimsufi and So you Start websites. However, you will be redirected to the OVHcloud website when you complete your order.
You will no longer be able to order on the Kimsufi and So you Start websites. You will be redirected to the eco.ovhcloud.com website.

**If I want to order the same server again, will it be available on the Eco product line?**

You can find the same configurations on the current websites (Kimsufi and So you Start) and on the eco.ovhcloud.com website.

**Will I be able to manage my Kimsufi and/or So you Start server via the OVHcloud Control Panel?**

Yes. The aim is to close the Kimsufi and So you Start websites — along with their respective Control Panels — in favour of the new Eco product line and the OVHcloud Control Panel. In the coming months, we will offer you the option of migrating your account and server(s) to the OVHcloud Control Panel.
