Hi Giany,

Before explaining you how to check if Kubernetes is installed, we’ll briefly define what Kubernetes is. Kubernetes is an open source container orchestration platform, which was created by Google. It might seems like a really complex subject, so let’s clarify all that for you.

Kubernetes allows you to automate the deployment and management of multi-container applications. It is designed to manage entirely the application life cycle, and containerized services.

There are several steps to follow to ensure that Kubernetes is installed. First of all, install Kubectl in your system. This program will help you manage the clusters. After that, install Minikube that will create a virtual machine as a node. Then launch Minikube. At the launch of the app, Kubectl’s configuration will automatically start. In order to go from command prompt to an IGU configure another command to opens a dashboard in a standard navigator.
The dashboard will offer you a clear graphic interface.

If you followed all these steps, that means you should not have any issues !

If you want to skip the installation part of the Kubernetes on your system, you can also access the developer’s web terminal. You’ll be able to learn the basics of Kubernetes by following tutorials.
