Hi all,
I have just received my replacement backup server where my original backup server burned in the fire.
The new server has 1 x NVMe disk and 4 x HDDs.
The logical assumption is that I would have a JBOD OS drive and a RAID array for data constructed from the other 4 drives.
When I build the server I am warned "This will format ALL the drives"
I have tested this and it is true - all the drives are wiped - including the data drives.
So - if the OS drive fails - how can I build a new OS without wiping all the drives?!!
Am I missing something or is the OS build tool fatally flawed here?!
Thanks for any replies!
